Yesterday, we officially launched the latest addition to our gaming network; PS3-Forums.net. As the name suggests the site is all about the Playstation 3 and gaming in general. We hope to use this site as a center for our other new and upcoming gaming network sites, but the Silent Hill V forums will of course stay and recieve the same amount of care and attention as they previously have had, and should recieve an update themselves soon!
We hope you enojy the new site if you decide to sign up! Please give us some feedback on either forums or via email on the contact page.

This month, we're asking a new question for you to cast your votes on.
As you may know, Silent Hill V is not being made by the original team, Team Silent, but an american studio named The Collective. Our question is; If Team Silent had created what we know and have seen so far would it change your opinion on it, just because of the development team?
The afore mentioned PSP version of SilentHillOrigins.com is now live for you to view. At the moment it is only the news, but I plan to add some of the sites content if people want me to.

SilentHill5.net's redesigned new look is now live, as you may have noticed. All the content (or what we have at least) has been rewritten for the site to ensure accuracy and high standards. Proper screenshot galleries are now up, including trailer screenshots, official screenshots and soon to be magazine scans.
Big thank you to Kitmitsu who helped me loads on the new design and I hope you like it and see it as an improvement!
[Note: All staff members who want or previously had a news account need to contact me via the forums or email.]

As of the otherday (21st July) SilentHillOrigins.com has been open for a whole year. :D
The site, and forums mainly have come along way in that time. We had only a couple of members and just over 1,000 posts before Silent Hill: Origins was announced as being "revamped". Since then we have many more active users and almost 8,000 posts in the forum.
At an average of ~400 - 600 unique visitors a day, SilentHillOrigins.com has received around 193,500 unique visits. Thats a lot of people for a sites first year and I hope the growth increases with SilentHill5.net which has just reached approx. 133,00 unique hits since Launch on the 6th August 2006.
The whole network is growing at quite a high rate and I definitely hope it lasts. :D With these increased visits, revenue has also increased which will allow us to hold competitions and give away prizes for the winners in the future.
I want to do a SilentHillOrigins.com 1st Anniversary competition so please post your ideas here, and what kind of prizes could be won (within reason, of course. XD)

TGS is close to opening and pre-event conferances have already been held to the press. Not everything that will be shown has been, obviously but titles such as Devil May Cry 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4 have already been shown. We're still hanging on the hope that a Silent Hill 5 trailer is going to be shown, but its looking slim. >_< Silent Hill: Origins is going for definate though. ;D

IGN.com have announced a few games which will be playable at the Tokyo Gameshow in September. They games are as follows:
*Railfan (Ongakukan) *Devil May Cry 4 (Capcom) *Fatal Inertia (Koei) *Blade Storm (Koei) *Mahjong Taikai IV (Koei) *Coded Arms Assault (Konami Digital Entertainment) *Genji (SCEJ) *Formula One World Championship (SCEJ) *Heavenly Sword (SCEJ) *Lair (SCEJ) *MotorStorm (SCEJ) *Resistance Fall of Man (SCEJ) *The Eye of Judgment (SCEJ) *Warhawk (SCEJ) *Gran Turismo Series (SCEJ) *Minna no Golf 5 (aka Hot Shots Golf, SCEJ) *Ridge Racer (Bandai Namco Games) *Gundam Target in Sight (Bandai Namco Games) *Armored Core 4 (From Software)
No Silent Hill there, however there are still some exicting titles.
Quote: IGN:
The remaining 8 titles are currently a mystery, so we encourage wild speculation.
Sony will also have a theater in its booth which will show video footage of a total of 35 titles. We presume there will be some overlap with the playable titles and the video-only titles, but Sony wasn't clear about the matter.
I doubt anyone expected it to be playable, but lets hope its among the 35 gametrailers!
