Exclusive fansite interview with Silent Hill: Homecoming (Lead Designer) Jason Allen Digg
Posted on 3 Sep 2008 Category: Silent Hill Homecoming News Post by: SilentHiller

You may remember some months ago that Konami and Double Helix PR kindly granted SilentHill5.net a unique interview with the Lead Designer of Silent Hill: Homecoming (Jason Allen). Another Silent Hill fansite (Silent Hill Forum UK) also got an opportunity for the fans to put questions to Jason Allen about the forthcoming Silent Hill next-gen debut title. We learn from the interview that any reappearance from old characters in the game will serve a real purpose and aren't included simply for the sake of it. Players will mainly journey through new areas like Shepherds Glen but there will be old locations to return to in Silent Hill as well. Apparently the development process for Silent Hill: Homecoming proved to be quite a challenge for the Double Helix team which is understandable taking on such a treasured series, but Jason Allen is confident that Silent Hill: Homecoming will be another successful instalment in the franchise.

The interview is a good read it's definitely worth a look. You can read the interview in it's entirety here:
