As thenubinator rightly pointed out earlier, and now confirmed by IGN, Silent Hill: Homecoming will only be available on Steam exclusively. Which means no boxed version.
It is unclear from IGN's article if they are referring to North America, PAL regions, or both. Meanwhile, VoltagePR do not mention Steam or any method of distribution in their announcement press release. We'll update you when it becomes more clear.
